The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is delighted to partner with BalletMet, an organization equally dedicated to inspiring, educating, and enriching our community. This spring, bring the whole family and step into the enchanting world of Sleeping Beauty as it comes to life on stage at the Ohio Theatre. Choreographed by Edwaard Liang and set to Tchaikovsky's timeless score, this captivating ballet tells the story of Princess Aurora's century-long slumber (a bit longer than our koalas sleep!) as she awaits the kiss of a prince. The performance will dazzle you with stunning costumes, intricate scenery, and mesmerizing choreography.
Arrive early to meet some of the Columbus Zoo’s animal and character ambassadors before the show for a special pre-performance treat. Don’t miss this unforgettable family outing filled with wonder and charm!
