Simple Ramen Noodle Salad

Looking for an inexpensive and easy-to-make dish that will leave your friends and family wanting more? Look no further than this delicious Ramen Noodle Salad recipe! It was submitted in a local school community cookbook by Mrs. Reardon and has become a fan favorite, and for good reason. This is a great dish for those end of the year potlucks or summer picnics!

Ingredients:
1 package of prepared coleslaw
About a 1/2 cup of red, green and yellow peppers (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
1 package of chicken or oriental flavored Ramen noodles

Dressing:
1/2 cup oil
3 Tablespoons Cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bunch of green onions sliced
Flavor packet from your choice of Ramen noodles


Directions:

1. Toast almonds in the oven at 350o for 10 minutes- then cool

2. Cut up 1/2 cup yellow, red and green peppers

3. In a large bowl mix coleslaw, peppers, crushed ramen noodles and almonds

4. Combine al dressing ingredients together and pour the dressing over the salad. 

Now, for the best part- DIG IN! This Ramen Noodle Salad makes for a great side dish or even a main meal. It's simple, cheap to make and incredibly flavorful. And the best part? Everyone who tries it is going to be asking you for the recipe!
