Audiences will have the opportunity to follow the adventures of plucky advice-giver extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza” in CATCO is Kids’ upcoming virtual musical production, Dear Edwina Online Edition.
This performance, which happens weekends, April 17-25, 2021, is the culmination of CATCO is Kids’ winter Saturday Morning Musicals’ class.
“Our Saturday Morning Musicals’ students can’t wait to share the adventures of Edwina and her friends with central Ohio families, straight from their homes to yours,” said Andrew Protopapas, CATCO’s interim education director. “In this new online adaptation, youth actors impart wisdom with their peers about everything from trying new foods to making friends through music.”
Dear Edwina, Online Edition, music by Zina Goldrich and book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler, is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). Shows will be Saturdays, April 17 and 24, and Sundays, April 18 and 25, at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 per device and available at www.catco.org/dear-edwina/
