Favorite Part of Working at GSS: My favorite part of working at Goldfish is seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they begin to grow as swimmers. Watching a child swim independently for the first time and gain confidence in the water is extremely rewarding!
Funny/Cute Story About a Swimmer/Family: I have been lucky enough to work with so many amazing families over the past 2 years! I love hearing about how the swimmers go home and pretend to be Miss Lizzie in the bathtub. It makes me heart happy!
Best Part of Your Day: Getting high fives and hugs from our swimmers. Some swimmers have been with us since they were 6 months old! It is fun to see them each week and watch them grow!
Favorite Level to Teach and Why: Junior 1. I love the challenge! Most children come to our Junior 1 class with hesitations and little swim experience. I love creating a fun and supportive environment by using our imaginations and the theme of the month to help swimmers become more confident and independent in the water!
Favorite Theme of the Month and Why: I love Outer Space because the sky is the limit! It is fun to jump into our rocket ships and blast off to explore different planets! I also LOVE the movie Toy Story and going on different adventures with Buzz and Woody!
Favorite Thing To Do Outside of GSS: I love to spend time with my family! My husband, Joel, and I grew up together. We have 2 children (Bella, 7 years old and Sam, 5 years old), a puppy (Zoey, 6 months old) and 2 cats (Wally and Olly both 9 years old). We love to spend time at the lake/swimming pool, going for bike rides and quick camping trips throughout the summer!
Favorite Disney Movie and Why: Toy Story- My children and I have loved watching all the Toy Story movies over the years. Buzz, Woody and the gang can always make us laugh…and cry!

Goldfish Swim School offers developmentally appropriate water safety and swim lessons, and classes are offered mornings, evenings and weekends in a safe, kid-friendly and fun environment. Goldfish teaches children ages four months to 12 years to swim in a unique, tropical setting with highly trained and certified instructors, small class sizes (max 4:1 student to teacher ratio), 90-degree pools and a state-of-the-art chlorine generation system. The swim school offers weekly family swims and birthday party packages too.
