This is my third year attending Monster Jam® with my son and, as always, it did not disappoint.
If you have never been to one of these events the noise and fumes from the trucks can be a bit overwhelming at first. I definitely recommend bringing ear protection or you can purchase earbuds at the event for a few dollars. The show is basically eight monster trucks competing against each other in five events. You get the impression it is not really pure competition as more of putting on a great show. It has a little pageantry that reminds me of professional wrestling. Nonetheless, last night's winner was Grave Digger, the crowd favorite, and probably the most well known of the bunch. In between the monster truck competitions you see ATV races that are not as exciting however, it does give you Nonstop Action in between the truck events.
The entire event runs about two hours including intermission. This is a great family event everyone can enjoy. The show does not demand close seats in order to get the full experience of these trucks. If you are prepared for the noise you will surely have a great time.
