After making it through our twins’ early years, Jeff and I found ourselves discussing how much easier things would have been ‘if only’.  You know, “If only I had that (fill in the blank) my day would have been smoother.”  Well, one of my pet peeves was cleaning up spills, but when our girls were ready to give up bottles I also wanted to move straight to straws.  I could never find anything that would let me use the bottles I already had and ended up buying a bunch of “straw cups” that were pricey and came with all manner of small parts and extra pieces to keep track of and keep clean.

Hearing my frustration, Jeff got to work.  As an engineer and an involved dad he brings a unique perspective to parenting and immediately saw this as an opportunity to help not only our family but solve a problem many parents face.  So we put our heads together and before long, Spill Spoiler was born.
