Eating out with kids can be challenging, trying to find balanced healthy meals on the go can almost be impossible! McDonald’s is stepping up to do their part to help moms and dads find meals that will make everyone happy! With the launch of the new Happy Meal, your child will automatically receive apples with their meal and a smaller size of fries about 100 calories and ½ the size of the current fries in Happy Meals, making everyone happy. Double apples and no fries will be available upon request. The caramel dipping sauce will be removed from the meals.
This change is part of McDonald’s commitment to support parents and encourage children to make healthy choices and to be mindful of portion sizes. McDonald’s will also be offering fat free chocolate milk in addition to 1% white milk, juice or fountain drink.
