I have come to the realization that there just isn’t as enough time to do everything I want to do, unless I just stop sleeping (only partially joking). That’s why I started looking at home cleaning companies. Let me say, we’ve never had our house professionally cleaned, and certainly it’s a bit of a luxury item for us, but one I also came to embrace as a sanity saving measure. So, I started searching for a company, in particular one that used green cleaners, without all the harsh fumes (and toxins). Since we’ve never had our house professionally cleaned, there was also a certain comfort level that needed reached, and I felt that after talking to Michelle.
Both my husband, who does a fair amount of the cleaning, and I wondered as the day approached, if we really needed to have home cleaners. That was all answered the day we got home after our house was cleaned. WE DID. We were like two giddy kids looking at all the rooms and commenting excitedly about all that they had cleaned, from the blinds and windows, the baseboards and mirrors, ceiling fans and return vents, and you name it. We both almost squealed when we saw that they cleaned our oven {not a chore we enjoy}! Needless to say, we were thrilled with the job that they did.
Since then, our house is still sparkly and we are still giddy. Sure, we could have done that deep clean, but not in three hours. It’s hard to put a price on not hearing complaining from the kids, or not having parent guilt for spending the weekend cleaning instead of doing family activities. For us the value of peace of mind for not having a huge chore looming over us far exceeded the cost of the cleaning (which honestly we felt was a very reasonable cost compared to some). The icing on the cake was that the friendly staff was able to finish while being followed around by our boys who decided to share the details of their day, and did so with a smile. They clearly enjoyed their job and took pride in their work.
