Do your kids love LEGOs? Then they would love COSI's new special LEGO Castle Adventure exhibit! Builders of all ages are invited to explore, build and play in LEGO® Castle Adventure at COSI! In this exhibit, kids and their families are transported to a LEGO® kingdom where they can become master castle builders. The exhibit is on display at COSI now through January 6, and YOU can WIN a family four-pack of tickets to see it and all of the great exhibits at COSI! We visited COSI on Saturday, as I live with three LEGO lovers who were counting down the days until the exhibit opened. My kids loved it. There were some amazing LEGO statues, that included knights, a dragon (a photo is on our Facebook page), crowns, swords and so much more. There were several building stations, both big soft blocks and standard LEGOs. There were lots of capes (knight on one side and dragon on other) and shields, and also two wearable horses for pretending to knights and joust. There was a little slide for younger ones. A large screen computer game where you could pick your wall types to defend your castle, and then pull back a big catapult and launch a rock (simulated) to see how the wall held up. And more!
Little Kidspace had some updates and big kidspace was completely redone. My big kid had fun creating different items and trying to get them to float upward in the wind tunnels. Super cool. We were all amazed by the famous artwork recreated using jelly beans (WOW!). Overall the kids declared our Saturday at COSI "the best day ever."
In addition to the LEGO Castle Adventure exhibit, they will also have a couple special events within this theme. LEGO Bricks Master Building Event is October 13th and 14th and features LEGO Master Builders creating an eight-foot tall knight on horseback made of LEGO Duplo bricks. Kids can help design the scenery around this display. On November 17th and 18th, there will be a LEGO Bricks Building Toys event that features all kinds of building toys from all shapes and sizes from LEGOs to Lincoln Logs.
