Fruit Flower Snack

By Denise Pugh July 16, 2012

I love fun looking snacks.  Sometimes the presentation is half the enjoyment!  Here is a simple craft snack that your kids will love to create themselves and love to eat as well!

Fruit Flower Snack

Ingredients:
Peanut Butter*
Strawberry, stem and hull removed
Apple, cut into wedges
Raisins (we used dried cranberries)

Instructions:
An adult should do the cutting and your child can assemble the flower as follows:
1. Spread peanut butter in the center of a plate with a child safe utensil.
2. Put the strawberry upside down in the middle of the peanut butter.
3. Place the apple wedges around the strawberry like flower petals.
4. Put some raisins around the strawberry (on top of the apple).

Enjoy!!

*note, if your child has peanut allergies you can substitute with cream cheese.
