Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins... mixed with fun, fun and more fall fun! We LOVE fall {can you tell?}! Here is a comprehensive list of pumpkin patches for ALL of Central Ohio, listed by county. You will find their address, phone number, hours, dates, websites and also a run-down of the fun activities that they have. In addition, if we have been there, we added our own comments in italics after the listing. Delaware County

Leeds Pumpkin Farm - 8738 Marysville Rd. Ostrander, OH  43061  Phone: 740-666-2020. September 17 through October 30. Open Saturdays 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is $12 for kids ages 3-18 and $10 for adults 19-54. Kids under 3 and adults over 55 are free (includes all farm activities, one hayride and max of 2 big zips). Activities include: hayrides, farm animals, two pumpkin jumps, big zipline, little zipline, straw barn, pedal carts, mountain slides, banana bus, corn box and more. Many activities have been expanded in 2015. They also have lots of food in the Caf-A and Food Corral - sandwiches, hot dogs, soup, chili, cookies and pie (by the slice or take a whole pie home). NEW 2016: Paint ball fun with targets in the field (paintballs available for sale for minimal cost) and Harvest Fest Oct. 15th 10am-8pm (night hours!). ! Cash, Visa, Mastercard.

Leeds Farm will also be open ONE Friday Oct. 14th from 10 am to 5 pm. And have many fun special events on the weekends. Returning this year, Wiches Night Out on October 6th for ladies (21 and older) to help scare off breast cancer (100% of ticket proceeds go to fight breast cancer). We go to Leed’s every year and we love it. There is so much to do and the kids have a great time and never want to leave. There seems like there is something for all ages here. The kids love the mini zip line, gerbil wheels, pumpkin trampoline, pedal cars, slides, hay barn and the banana boat rides (photo below). The hayride is fun too. 


Freemans Farm - They are open this fall again! 6142 Lewis Center Rd.  Galena OH  43021. Phone: 740-548-7866.  Fall Festival Weekends are September 24 through October 30.  Open Saturdays 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 11 am to 5 pm.  Pumpkin patch, already gathered from the field, tractor pulled hay rides, scarecrow making, apple butter making demonstration, farm animals petting area, kettle popcorn, snacks and refreshment stand. Cash for hayride and food.  Market takes cash and credit cards.   This is a nice little farm which we frequented when our kids were younger, the hayride is nice and you can pet and feed some farm animals. The pumpkins are pre-picked. There isn’t a lot to do, but smaller kids still really enjoy it. You can get great pictures of your kids in the pumpkins. 

Hidden Creek Farms- 581 South Galena Rd. Sunbury OH 43074.  Phone: 740-815-9371.  Fall Festival Weekends are September 17 through October 30 from10 am to 6 pm. Admission is $7.00 for children and adults (children 2 and under are free), and they take Cash, MC, Visa and Discover.  Admission includes: hayride to pumpkin patch (pumpkins not included in admission fee), kids play barn, fun maze, great pumpkin slide, a visit with farm animals and games. Other activities include camp fire demonstrations and corn cannon.  They have food and drinks for sale, and a small farm market with fall decorating items like pumpkins, gourds, straw bales and indian corn. We've been to this farm a few times for school trips and otherwise. They have a nice hayride out to a big pumpkin patch. The kids LOVE the giant, and very fast, slide (article picture). They also have a corn cannon and a hay maze in a small barn. For younger kids, they had a large "corn sandbox" with some toys and a little slide. 

MadMax Farms - 4140 Clark Shaw Rd. Powell, OH  43065.  Phone:  740-881-1606.  Open daily beginning the last Saturday in September while supplies last. 

Annual Harvest Celebration and Hog Roast benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Saturday Sept. 24 at 2 pm. Activities and flyer not yet posted. 100% of donations will benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  

Miller’s Country Gardens  - 2488 St. Rt. 37 West, Delaware OH 43015.  Phone: 740-363-5021.  Daily all October. Monday - Saturday 9 am to 7 pm. Open Sundays 12 noon to 5 pm. In September, they have apples, winter squash, Indian corn and fresh apple cider.  The month of October brings in the pumpkins! You can pick your own from their field or choose from those already gathered. Weekends you can ride the wagon to the field and enjoy a corn maze too. 

Lehner Pumpkin Farm - 2920 St. Rt. 203, Radnor, OH 43066 (north of Delaware). Phone: 740-595-3207. Open Sept. 24th through October 30tht. Activities are open on weekends 10am - 7:30pm and weeknights 5pm-7:30pm, with FREE hayrides on Sat. & Sun. 12pm-5pm. Activities include: play barn, corn maze, petting zoo, barrel ride (for children and adults), animal track maze, mini golf, bounce house, peddle go cart, corn box, pumpkin balls, and much more. Franklin County

Jacquemin Farms- 7437 Hyland Croy Rd. Plain City OH  43064 Phone:  614-873-5725. Open all of October for fall fun. Hours Monday through Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm, and Sundays 1 pm to 6 pm. Fall Field Days activities include: hayrides out to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins (weekends only) and a big Kiddie Playland area for children 10 years and younger. Play area: $6 unlimited playtime in all of the play area. Includes: a straw maze, grain boxes, 3 giant air toys.  During the weekdays, air toys are not on until after 3 pm, but the whole area is open on the weekends.  Children 3 & under are free with at least one older paying sibling. Hayrides are $1 per person, free to kids with Playland admission. Cash & check.

Circle S Farms- 9015 London Groveport Rd., Grove City, OH  43123.  Phone:  614-878-7980. Starting September 29th – October 31st the farm is open from 8:30 am to 7 pm every day. Activities include: hayrides (9am-dusk) to the pumpkin field, straw barn, slides, bale cave, farm animals, corn and sunflower mazes and food.  General admission is $8 per person (children under 2 are free) and $4.00 per pumpkin (optional).  Cash and credit cards. facebook We haven't been here since my oldest was about a year old.  It was a lot of fun and a very popular patch!  They had the hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own, which is fun.  The straw barn, slides and bale cave were HUGE hits with the older kids (and my one year old - however it was a little nerve wreaking due to the large amounts of older kids playing). Definitely a lot of fun though!


Licking County

Pigeon Roost Farm- 4413 National Rd. SW, Hebron OH  43025.  Phone: 740-928-4925.  Every day September 17th through October 31, from 10 am to 7 pm.  Activities include: giant slides, mazes, "gerbil wheels" (my kids love these), a fort, wagon rides, Football throw, hop-a-long corral, spinning wheel of fortune, face painting, kettle corn, tire play area, tree fort with slide and climbing wall and an expanded Enchanted Forest with obstacle course, and more! And NEW this year: stationary gerbil wheels. They even have a Toddler Town area with fun and safe activities for kids under 3.  Most of the pumpkins are brought in from the fields and displayed in the barnyard for your selection, but there is a small pick-your-own patch for those of you who enjoy the search in the field!  Cost of admission is $7 per person (children under 2 are free) and includes all of the activities.  The tractor pulled wagon rides are $3 per person.  Cash, check, Visa, MC & Discover.  We've been going to this farm for a few years. By far the kids enjoyed the giant "gerbil wheels" the most - which were huge plastic tube cut, which you could get into and run/walk to move it through the field. They also had plenty for the three and under age group and four and up age group too. 

Devine Farms- 672 National Rd., Hebron, OH  43025.  Has closed to enjoy time with their grandkids.   

Lynd’s Fruit Farm- 9090 Morse Rd. SW, Pataskala OH  43062. Phone: 740-927-1333.  Through November 1st, Lynd’s Pumpkin Patch is open Fridays and Saturdays 10 am to 10 pm, and Sundays 10:30am - 6pm.  You can pick your own or choose from pumpkins already picked.  Other activities include: kids adventure land, wagon rides and a corn maze. Check website for pricing.  There is also a Little Llama Combo which includes the little llamas maze, Fun zone, Bounce House, Barrel Train Ride. and Barrel Train. Cash, check and credit. We went to Lynd's one year after picking apples. It has a decent sized pumpkin patch you can walk in to pick your pumpkin.  They have big corn maze and a kid’s adventure area which the kids LOVED, as well as some other children's activities. Whether there picking apples or just for a fall outing, this is a fun addition!

Diamond Hill Farm10468 Martinburg Rd., Utica, 43080. Ph: 740-404-9200. Open daily Sept. 17th - Oct. 31st, 10am-6pm Mon-Sat. and 12pm-6pm Sundays. Hay rides, barrel train rides, farm animals, corn maze, burlap sac slide, petal track, and corn bus and slide - some activities not available on weekdays. See website for pricing. 

Hendren Farm Market and Corn Maze - Corn maze with clues along the way (this sounds fun!). There's a corn box, and pick your own pumpkins ($25 for fill the wagon). Thanks to Mac Kid subscriber Mary T. for sharing this new find with us!

Marion County

Lawrence Orchards- 2634 Smeltzer Rd. Marion, OH  43302.  Phone: 740-389-3019.  Applefest is Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 am to 5 pm.  Activities include horse-drawn wagon rides through the orchard, pony rides, a petting farm, hay maze, corn bin play area, train rides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, old time music and food. $5 per person, free if under 2 years old.  

Union County

The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek - 8657 Axe Handle Rd., Milford Center. 937-349-4781. Open Saturday, Sept. 17 to Oct. 30. Enjoy a huge and famous maze (Peanuts themed!). They also have many other things to do like a giant bouncer, cow train, hayrides, corn cannons, corn ball, pedal cars, rubber duck races, kids fun barn, tube slide and so much more. Prices vary and combo passes are available, see website. 

 

Pickaway County

Circleville Pumpkin Show- 159 East Franklin St., Circleville OH  43113. Oct 19th through Oct 22nd. Festival activities include: parades, giant pumpkin weigh-in, Little Miss Pumpkin and Miss Pumpkin show, pet training demonstration, pumpkin sculpting, parades, egg toss competition and much more!  I haven't been here in years, but we used to go with friends and their children. This is a fun festival with rides, games, crazy looking pumpkins, a parade, and lots of pumpkin food!
